We already wrote a blog post about whether there is some secret exercise for those looking for ways on how to lose weight in 2 weeks.  Fast fat loss is a relative term, but the answer to the exercise question will hopefully be at least part way answered in this post.

You have probably see some pretty interesting exercises being done in your local gym.  Everything from seeing someone balance on a big Bosu Ball to some other acrobatic exercise that is sure to target a specific area and “torch fat”.  Here’s the kicker though, those who have the “secrets”, to fast fat loss that involve every goofy parlor trick you can imagine aren’t the fat loss soothsayers they may think of themselves as.  Knowing how to lose weight in 2 weeks usually means you also know how to follow a sensible path

Workouts should follow a progression, and provide enough intensity to get the job done, but not so much you are at risk of injury or bodily harm.

If you look at most workout plans out there, you will see quite a bit of fluff.  What that means is that you will hear about people lifting the pink dumbbells to try and tone up, and doing all sorts of other small time exercises that aren’t going to get the effects you are after.  This is definitely not how to lose weight in 2 weeks.

Big bang for the buck exercises are the name of the game when you want to change the shape of your body.  That means cutting out the fluff if you are learning how to lose weight in 2 weeks.

Look for workouts that pair exercises together, to keep you moving.  While we have written before that just lifting weights is not all that effective for calorie burn, the way that you lift them can help to boost the calories you burn.  Super sets, where two or more exercises are paired with little or no rest are effective at this.  As are basic circuit exercises, like you see at some gyms in a group setting.

If you see exercises that you do not think are fun being featured heavily in your workout, you have found a good one.  Doing squats, correctly, as well as other bigger movements helps to turn on those muscles, get the heart rate up a bit, and get you burning some calories.
